Salaam! These shoes are INCREDIBLE. I found this company through a friend of mine and it only further strengthened my argument that everything in Spain is awesome. These shoes are classy and vintage with a modern twist. I love the heels on these shoes, sturdy and strong, like the heel of a flamenco shoe. Now let me warn you: these shoes are EXPENSIVE. Like $500 a pair. For me, this is just a dream…but it doesn’t hurt to virtual window-shop :)

For this version of “I Wish” I just HAD to choose Phillip Lim again. From his classic boyfriend blazer to his new modified line of sequin pieces, he has such talent and style. I adore this dress, since it can also be a sweater, a shirt and still dress up any outfit. Isn’t that leaf bracelet just incredible?

Well, the season is upon us (or some of us, I really do envy you sisters that are starting your summer!) The wind is becoming sharp and biting, the sun is hiding for what seems like days and the coldness is settling into every nook and cranny of your house and home.

Ok, that is super depressing I know. I am still in the mourning stages for the days of summer and I will just have to get over it. Do you know what would help me in my acceptance of this upcoming bitter season? THIS CAPE.

As I told you yesterday, I am in love with capes. They are super warm, you can hug yourself underneath them and they are extra modest! No form fitting brouhaha going on here! I love vintage capes because they are usually heavy and made from warm materials such as wool but this new cape from Derek Lam is amazing. The cream color makes it great for day or night wear and it even has pockets! I am just going to pretend that this cape isn’t over a thousand dollars…

These shoes are so cute, I love chunky Mary Janes. The clutch is made to resemble sea corral and the dress? Oh, don’t get me started. It could be its own “I Wish” item :)

I Wish: Paul & Joe

Salaam girls. Ok, so I know that most of us don’t have almost $500 to spend on a sweater but this Paul & Joe sweater/vest/dress is so awesome! I love the chunky knit (especially if you have freezing winters like we do in Chicago), the pattern and most of all, the modest fit. If I could afford this, I would wear it all winter long, snuggling up on the sofa and sipping hot chocolate :)

By the way, dark green and gray are fantastic together and these boots rock my world.

I Wish: Aab

Salaam sisters! This week has been so busy but inshAllah it will be slowing down soon. For this series, I have featured an abaya by Aab. This beautiful peach gown is 250 BGP (!) but it would be so wonderful to wear it to a special occasion! I paired it with black accesories and a black hijab to dress it up and keep it subtle. You could also pair it with a deep green or burgandy. And what do you think of those shoes?  I absolutely love them!
