the best thing about Etsy is the variety of items you can get. it isn’t just “artsy” stuff, or a handmade patchwork wallet (not that i have anything against those). you can get dressy, classy pieces that look like they cost hundreds but in fact are affordable and one-of-a-kind!

Salaam! I have been trying to stay warm and cozy lately and what is better for that than a cape? Some are dressy, some are casual. Some are hooded and some are not. They all are fantastic and make me want to roam around barefoot through the woods.

Salaam all. I am sorry that things have been spare for the last few days, I am still recovering from the flu and habibi and I are on a “staycation” which is when you have a little vacation -- but stay home! It has been really nice to sleep in, watch movies and read without having to go out in the cold.

A few days ago my girlfriends and I had our monthly movie night and we saw the film “A Single Man”. It was Tom Ford’s debut film, so you can imagine how breathtakingly beautiful it was!

Salaam. I am posting for Friday a little bit late since I have gotten the flu. It feels like this winter I just cannot get 100% healthy. I decided to find yummy and healthy teas on Etsy. These are all either green or herbal teas and are great if you get sick or if you just don’t want to get sick in the future. We are all supposed to drink 8 glasses of water a day, make it fun with tea!

Salaam! For this week, I wanted to choose a theme that was relaxing and got me away from the cold (even if just for a few minutes!) I found some adorable starfish items…I think they are so cute! I especially love the stationary, the artwork is fantastic.
