i absolutely love this tunic. summer is a great time for purple! i am also in love with this backpack, it is hard to find bags that are hijab-friendly (i.e. don’t rip your hijab off every time you put them on). i am going to do a post about Old Navy later inshAllah because they have some amazing hijabi finds and y’all should know about them!

summer dreaming

well it is FINALLY summer here in Chicago (or, at least not freezing anymore) and i couldn’t be more excited! no more brutal wind, no more freezing rain and no more dreary days. i can’t wait to be out more, habibi and i are starting to take a walk every night after dinner and i am also looking forward to getting back to bike riding.

i am going to go though my closets this week and start packing up those old sweaters and bulky hijabs and bring out silky hijabs, beaded sandals and flowing tops. and so i created this little gem of an outfit:
